FightSaber had the opportunity to contribute to Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore’s Santa’s Wonderland Christmas Party on 30th November 2014.
Make-A-Wish grant wishes to children between 3 to 18 years old with life-threatening illnesses. Each wish brings smiles, laughter and many special memories to cherish. Founded in 1980 in Phoenix, Arizona, Make-A-Wish® has spread the Power of a Wish® to 36 countries in five continents over the years- including Singapore. Worldwide, a wish is granted in every 30 minutes.
Wish granting has a life-changing experience on children and their families- The impact is powerful and positive, giving the child hope, strength and joy to carry on journey.
Their goal is to reach out to every medically eligible child in Singapore and give them renewed strength to battle their illness.
Though our contribution wasn’t much; a lightsaber performance with Jedi training for the children, I’m sure it gives the children hope and joy.
