International Cosplay Day Singapore (ICDS) 2012 celebrates “Cosplay & Pop-Culture Diversity” and takes place on 26 August 2012 this year.
It’s an all-inclusive, fan-driven convention that transcends barriers by immersing convention goers in an eclectic fusion of Eastern and Western pop-culture elements.
This year, ICDS welcomes as our guests-of-honor U.S. cosplay celebrities Yaya Han and Jerry Polence, internationally acclaimed cosplay photographer Jay Tablante, and the cast and crew of hit Internet cosplay live action drama COSPLAY: The Series.
There’s a bit of something for everyone at ICDS – a cosplay competition and catwalk for cosplay lovers, a dedicated artist’s alley, pop-culture exhibitors and vendors galore – so you’ll definitely not walk away empty handed.
ICDS will also play host to Singapore’s 2nd Annual Cosplay Chess, a 2-hour long cosplay stage show that’s also a highlight of our celebration this year.
FightSaber, along with Kit Sabers will be having a booth at ICDS so don’t forget to say hi to us.
[Bonus: our founder will be on stage as part of the annual cosplay chess. He will be dressing up as a Jedi from Star Wars: The Old Republic as a chess piece!]
